Our Story

Freedom Church Raleigh Est 2019

Freedom Church Raleigh was established in 2019 as part of Freedom Church — a global, non-denominational movement of churches originating in Hereford, England, united around one mission: seeing people encounter Jesus and experience true freedom in Him.

A team led by Pastors Josh and Rose Snowzell relocated from England to Raleigh, NC in 2019 to plant Freedom Church in the city. What began in homes and community centres grew steadily — moving into its own dedicated space in 2022 and launching publicly in autumn 2023. Following rapid growth, Freedom Church Raleigh now meets at Millbrook High School (2201 Spring Forest Road, Raleigh, NC 27615) since 2024.

Our Pastors

Freedom Church Raleigh is led by Pastors Josh and Rose Snowzell. Born and raised in Hereford, England, Josh and Rose married in 2006 and spent over a decade leading Freedom Church in Hereford before relocating to Raleigh, NC in 2019 with their four children — Judah, Nathan, Cleo, and Jesse — to plant Freedom Church Raleigh.

Rose is a passionate Bible teacher who loves Italian food and her favorite show, Call the Midwife. Josh is a visionary leader who loves conquering mountains and baking with his youngest son, Jesse. Together, they are building a church in Raleigh that is deeply welcoming, biblically grounded, and full of life.

everyone who comes through our doors.
